Hoy vamos a aprender cómo decir el alfabeto, los números, y como introducirnos. Primero vamos a copiar algunas frases claves para las introducciones:

Lección parte 1
- Students will watch 3 videos 2 containing the alphabet and 1 video for numbers 1-10
- Students will then recite the alphabet and numbers with the videos twice
Lección parte 2
- Students will switch from watching the videos and numbers to introductions.
- As a class we will recite the introductions that they copied at the beginning of the class.
- After reciting I will give a demonstration and ask the students to introduce themselves to their neighbor.
- Students will receive a list of Spanish names that they will pick from.
- With their new Spanish names they will introduce themselves to other classmates.
- I will ask for volunteers to demonstrate how to introduce yourself in Spanish
- Homework:
- Students will submit the assignment on our class site (demonstration will be provided) (7/25/17)
- Provide (name, email, in the comments sections introduce yourself in Spanish using your Spanish name)
- Get syllabus filled out and signed by parents (7/28/17)
- Prueba (quiz) del alfabeto (7/27/17)

Lección parte 2
- Students will switch from reviewing to the new vocabulary.

- Students will have to recite the whole vocabulary by memory

- Students will receive new numbers (1-30)
- They will copy the numbers and recite as a class
- Students will receive the following months and days of the week in an envelope.
- Enero, febrero, marzo, abril, mayo, junio, julio, Agosto, septiembre, octubre, noviembre, diciembre
- Lunes, martes, miércoles, jueves, viernes, sábado, domingo
- Students will put the months and days of the weeks in order and copy them to their notes
- As a class we will recite the months (January - December) and days of the week (Monday – Sunday)
- I will ask for volunteers to demonstrate how to introduce yourself in Spanish

- The teacher will review process for asking the date as well as the day.
- Using the new numbers students will ask their neighbors birthday and age.
- After the students have practiced their presentation with a neighbor they will go through the class and look for three students birthday and their age.
- How to tell time lesson with Señor Jordan
- The students will complete a workbook activity on time

- I will ask for volunteers to demonstrate how to introduce yourself in Spanish
